Job Title: Medical Health Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for healthcare professionals to advance their careers in a dynamic working environment.

This includes full-time and part-time positions available. As a Medical Health Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments for the Government's disability allowance (PIP) while delivering a tailored service for claimants.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. You will manage caseloads from start to finish, which includes delivering face-to-face and virtual assessments, telephone assessments, initial review calls, and paper-based reports.
  2. You will assess a wide range of health conditions and disabilities affecting claimants, including physical, sensory, mental, intellectual, and cognitive impairments.
  3. You will have time allocated in your working rota for breaks, CPD, audit amendments, requesting and reviewing further evidence, and team meetings.
Benefits Package:
  • Basic Salary: £38,500 - £41,500 per annum
  • 5% retention bonus
  • Rising to 10% quality & retention bonus
  • Overtime (OTE): up to £45,650
  • Hybrid full-time, part-time working hours available
  • Training options: 12 weeks (full-time), 14 weeks (4 days per week), and 17 weeks (3 days per week)
