Support Assistant for Special Education

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Teaching and Learning Assistant in a specialist setting supporting students with complex learning difficulties, often associated with profound physical disabilities and/or medical needs.
The role involves:
- Providing crucial support to students in their learning, development, and progress across various curricula within different learning contexts
- Assisting young people with diverse needs, including PMLD, complex medical conditions, and autism, to achieve their educational and personal goals
- Fostering an environment that promotes equality, diversity, and the rights of all young people to be seen as learners and treated with respect
Requirements:
- You must hold at least level 2 / C grade (or equivalent) Maths and English
- A willingness and ability to work towards getting formal qualifications, attend training, and take responsibility for your own development
- Passion and compassion for children and young people with additional needs
- Ambition and determination to overcome barriers to learning
