Electrical Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our Dumfries and Galloway site. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out installations, planned preventative maintenance, and reactive breakdowns to our manufacturing machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Conduct fault finding and diagnostic activities to identify and resolve issues.
  • Work on single and three-phase systems, as well as PLCs, drives, gears, and motors.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve maintenance objectives and improve overall efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Relevant electrical qualification to level 3 as a minimum.
  • Experience working on electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering diagrams and schematics.
  • Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
