Temporary Maintenance Engineer (6-Month Contract)

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to support our client on a 6-month temporary contract for their premises in Holywood.

This role offers a competitive salary of £35,000-£40,000, dependent on your experience, with supplemental pay for alarm cover and weekend work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement maintenance and spare parts plans, focusing on automation and continuous improvement of infrastructure.
  • Monitor and document maintenance activities, ensuring availability of essential services in line with production schedules.
  • Provide training to farm-based staff on resolving alarms and performing daily maintenance.
  • Manage contractors on-site for specialist projects and capital expenditure (capex) developments.
  • Contribute to process enhancements while ensuring compliance with health and safety, biosecurity, and environmental policies.
Requirements:
  • Strong background in electrical installation for pumps, monitoring, and control equipment.
  • Experience with heating/cooling systems, water treatment, re-use, gas/liquid interactions, and pressurized systems.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and efficiently meet maintenance objectives and production targets.
