Education Programmes Manager

Join Bedford Blues Foundation as we seek an experienced Education Manager to lead our outreach education programmes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and managing our alternative provision, ensuring our programmes meet the needs of schools and align with the national curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement outreach education programmes that meet the needs of schools and align with the national curriculum.
- Lead the development and strategic planning for all outreach and education programmes, ensuring they align with Bedford Blues Foundation's aims and objectives.
- Manage and control contracts and relationships with schools and projects, ensuring smooth programme delivery.
- Liaise directly with partner organisations, venues, and contractors to ensure programme success.
- Monitor and evaluate programme effectiveness, compiling reports for funders and stakeholders.
- Represent Bedford Blues Foundation and the Bedford Blues brand, upholding our reputation and values.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of the education sector and alternative provisions.
- Excellent line management and finance management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office and organisational skills.
- Enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check.
