Education Programmes Manager

Join Bedford Blues Foundation as we seek an experienced Education Manager to lead our outreach education programmes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and managing our education initiatives, ensuring they meet the needs of schools and align with our charitable objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategic plans for outreach education programmes, ensuring alignment with our charitable aims and objectives.
- Lead the development and management of programme content, working closely with our team to deliver high-quality education initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partner schools, ensuring our programmes meet their needs and objectives.
- Manage contracts and relationships with schools and projects, working collaboratively with our team to deliver successful outcomes.
- Monitor and evaluate programme effectiveness, providing regular reports to funders and stakeholders.
- Represent Bedford Blues Foundation at a professional level, upholding our brand and reputation in all aspects of work.
- Strong understanding of the education sector and alternative provisions.
- Excellent leadership and line management skills, with experience in managing budgets and delivering services.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong desire to support young people and those with long-term health conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office and organisational skills, with the ability to work alone at times and handle confidential information.
- Enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check required.
- Full-time position with predominantly office and field-based work, with some home working flexibility.
