Job Summary

A highly skilled Key Account Manager is required to join our client, a leading logistics company in the Birmingham area. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing commercial relationships and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team in the logistics department, ensuring high-quality service delivery and excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Nurture and manage relationships with key client accounts, identifying opportunities for new business and improving client satisfaction.
  • Develop strategic plans to drive business growth, collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met, and provide regular reports on account performance and team productivity.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations, and contribute to team training and development initiatives.

Requirements

  • A detailed knowledge of 3pl contract/commercial management and proven experience in account management within the Logistics industry.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team, excellent client relationship management skills, and a strategic mindset and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
