Key Account Manager – Grocery/Discount

Network Scientific Recruitment is seeking an ambitious and driven National Account Manager to join a globally recognised brand in the non-food consumer goods sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive profitable growth by managing and developing relationships with key strategic National Accounts and online retailers.
  • Develop joint business plans to maximise in-store and online activations.
  • Continually review product selection and availability.
  • Develop a customer strategy.
  • Manage account P&L.
  • Create and own 12 month promotion, activation and NPD plans.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams and other key stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with designated customers at all levels.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate success in the FMCG industry.
  • Have experience of Factory Shop, Scotts, Boots, B&Q, Matalan, Factory Shop, Wickes or Farm Foods.
  • Ability to build relationships with all levels and departments.
  • Exhibit creativity in problem solving.
  • Be target driven/results orientated.
  • Be an excellent team player and ability to work cross functionally.
  • Have excellent negotiation skills.

What We Offer:

  • £45k basic DOE.
  • Car allowance.
  • 10% Bonus.
  • Hybrid working - 1 day a week in office.
