About the Role:

Black Fox Solutions is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our client's team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for various aspects of project management and procurement within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement of materials and sub-contractors
  • Preparation and analysis of variations
  • Sub-contract payments and valuation preparation
  • Liaising with clients to understand their needs and develop budgets
  • Preparing estimates and cost reports
  • Overseeing the construction process to ensure projects stay on budget and schedule
  • Managing subcontractors and working closely with the Commercial Manager and Production Department

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and internal team members
  • Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple projects and tight deadlines
  • Commercial awareness within the fit-out and joinery sector
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Effective time management
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
