We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced veterinary surgeon to take on the role of Clinical Director at Vetisco in Stranraer. This exciting opportunity will allow you to develop your management skills and lead our small animal clinical team.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a mixed veterinary caseload, with a focus on small animal internal medicine, ultrasound imaging, exotics, or orthopaedics. You will work closely with our current Clinical Director and Practice Manager to ensure the smooth running of the practice.

About the Role
  • Work up to 40 hours per week across 5 days
  • Rotating out-of-hours schedule, including weekends and bank holidays
  • Opportunity to develop leadership and management skills
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a mixed veterinary caseload, with a focus on small animals
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
  • Work collaboratively with the wider veterinary team to achieve excellent patient care
