Forklift Operations Manager

Ross-shire Engineering Limited is seeking an experienced Forklift Operations Manager to lead our in-house Training department. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing our people and achieving our strategic business goals.
About the Role:- Develop and deliver plant equipment-based courses, including Forklift, MEWP, and Overhead Crane, to RSE Group companies and external clients as required.
- Enhance competency-based programs, such as Health & Safety, Manual Handling, RAMS, and others, to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to stay up-to-date with training developments by researching relevant journals, attending meetings/courses, and producing reports as requested.
- E nsure compliance with legal obligations regarding training and health & safety.
- Lead the monitoring and review of trainee progress using questionnaires and discussions with Line Managers.
- Manage and monitor training reports, assisting management to ensure all actions are completed on time and reminders issued for outstanding tasks.
- Proven experience in a training or operations leadership role.
- A thorough understanding of data protection principles.
- A positive, flexible, and proactive approach to work.
- Prepared to travel to all group locations across Scotland and England.
- Full UK driving license.
- An industry-leading salary based on your experience (£45,000 - £65,000 per annum).
