We are seeking an experienced Governance Manager to join our team at University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust. As a key member of our Divisional Governance Team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery and development of our governance agenda.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Divisional Management Team in the development and implementation of governance policies and procedures.
  • Lead on risk management and patient safety initiatives, working closely with clinical teams to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Provide expert advice on governance and risk management to clinical and management teams.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance governance knowledge and skills.
  • Collaborate with corporate functions to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
Requirements
  • First Degree level or equivalent level of relevant experience.
  • Experience working at a senior level within an acute NHS setting.
  • Practical experience in at least one area of clinical governance.
  • Line management experience.
