Divisional Governance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Governance Manager to join our team at University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust. As a key member of our Divisional Governance Team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery and development of our governance agenda.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Divisional Management Team in the development and implementation of governance policies and procedures.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the Divisional Governance Team, ensuring effective management of governance workstreams.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to identify and address risks and gaps in compliance, ensuring a robust risk management programme.
- Act as an expert lead in governance, advising clinical and management teams on internal and external regulations.
- Develop and deliver training programmes to support the development of governance skills and knowledge within the Trust.
- First Degree level or equivalent level of relevant experience.
- Experience working at a senior level within an acute NHS setting.
- Practical experience in at least one area of clinical governance.
- Line management experience.
