Financial Operations Coordinator

About the JobAs a key member of our team, you'll oversee the Council's treasury management activities, guaranteeing compliance with relevant regulations and optimising financial performance.
- Expertly manage the Council's cash reserves, minimising costs and maximising returns.
- Produce accurate cash flow forecasts and balance sheet projections.
- Collaborate with external treasury advisors to uphold the highest professional standards.
- Analyse potential investments and borrowings.
- Deliver comprehensive quarterly and annual treasury reports.
- Support the preparation of the Council's Statement of Accounts.
- Effectively manage the Council's insurance portfolio.
Pursue this exciting opportunity with a salary of £20.22 per hour (approximately £4,042.40 per month) for 20 hours of weekly work.
Job RequirementsAAT qualification or equivalent required. Past experience in local authority accounting essential. Proficiency in managing cash flow critical.
