About the Job

As a key member of our team, you'll oversee the Council's treasury management activities, guaranteeing compliance with relevant regulations and optimising financial performance.

  1. Expertly manage the Council's cash reserves, minimising costs and maximising returns.
  2. Produce accurate cash flow forecasts and balance sheet projections.
  3. Collaborate with external treasury advisors to uphold the highest professional standards.
  4. Analyse potential investments and borrowings.
  5. Deliver comprehensive quarterly and annual treasury reports.
  6. Support the preparation of the Council's Statement of Accounts.
  7. Effectively manage the Council's insurance portfolio.

Pursue this exciting opportunity with a salary of £20.22 per hour (approximately £4,042.40 per month) for 20 hours of weekly work.

Job Requirements

AAT qualification or equivalent required. Past experience in local authority accounting essential. Proficiency in managing cash flow critical.
