We are looking for a skilled Commercial Ledger Assistant to join our team in Leeds.

As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for supporting the Financial Controller and working across various finance operations, including sales and purchase ledgers, credit control, and administrative duties.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Raise accurate and timely invoices for commercial properties, including rent and service charges.
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations using Xero and EQ banking interface.
  • Manage supplier payments using Xero accounting software.
  • Support the Financial Controller in producing management accounts and performance reports.
  • Prepare quarterly VAT submissions and year-end financial information.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow up on aged debts.

The salary for this role is £27,000-£30,000 per annum, plus benefits such as free on-site parking, 28 days holiday plus bank holidays, and auto-enrolment in the company pension scheme.
