Adecco is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative with a Forklift Licence to join their team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Picking and Packing: Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to efficiently pick and pack orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Order Preparation: Prepare and complete orders for shipment, maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Stock Management: Receive and process stock products using the WMS, maintaining good in/goods out procedures.
- Inventory Control: Assist with stock replenishment, ensuring accurate inventory levels and minimizing stock discrepancies.
- Delivery Coordination: Book in deliveries and communicate any issues or discrepancies to management.
- Health and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to Health and Safety Standards.
- Team Player: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Forklift Licence: Possession of a valid Forklift Licence (Bendi/Pivot Steer preferred, but at least Reach and Counterbalance) is essential.
- Professional Appearance: Maintain a professional appearance and good verbal communication skills, representing Adecco in a positive light.
- Dependability: Demonstrate dependability and reliability, with a diligent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Computer Literacy: Excellent numerical skills and computer literacy, with experience using a Warehouse Management System and bar code scanner.
- Multi-Tasking: Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Communication: Strong ability to communicate effectively with both management and co-workers, providing clear and concise updates.
- Flexibility: Flexibility to work overtime as needed, demonstrating a proactive mindset and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Loading and Unloading: Loading and unloading goods from vehicles, ensuring safe and efficient handling.
- Stacking and Handling: Stacking goods in correct racking/storage bays, handling empty pallets, and picking and packing onto pallets and cartons for courier collections.
