We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Specialty Doctor in Breast Surgery to join our team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust (279). This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy breast surgical service, providing breast screening to a population of over 135,000 women and receiving over 6,000 GP referrals.
Main Responsibilities- Participate in one-stop symptomatic, wound check, and results clinics across Brighton
- Contribute to the care of in-patients and out-patients clinics at Brighton
- Theatre assistant - participate in operating lists, independent operating if experience allows, under supervision
- Administrative duties associated with patient care
- Teaching BSMS students attending the unit

Requirements- Basic medical degree qualification
- Full GMC Registration with a license to practice
- Four years post-graduation - foundation year training completed
- Experience in breast surgery (desirable)
- Evidence of experience in all aspects of breast assessment, diagnosis, and interpretation of investigations
- Understanding of clinical risk management
- Evidence of having undertaken own development to improve understanding of equalities issues
- An ability to communicate well with patients and staff
