About the Role

As a Business Development Manager at Johnson Controls International, you will be responsible for driving growth in the EMEALA data centre colocation vertical. You will build relationships with key accounts and opportunities, leveraging our broad portfolio of Fire Suppression solutions to maximize account penetration and customer retention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute account management plans to achieve sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Build partnerships with colocation customers, consulting engineers, and design build contractors to influence specifications and lead account and project strategies.
  • Support the pre-bid, bid, and post-bid processes to ensure successful delivery and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to create alignment and drive business results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets in a B2B environment.
  • Ability to adapt and flex while working with customers to find the best solution.
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment as an individual contributor.
  • Fluent language skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling Fire Suppression solutions within the data centre/colocation industry.
  • An existing network/relationships within the data centers industry (consulting engineers, contractors and colocation operators), specifically around OFCI/CFCI programs.
  • Prior experience with Salesforce, Altify, and day-to-day software solutions (Outlook, Office, Teams, etc.).
