NHS Specialist Community Health School Nurse

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Specialist Community Health School Nurse to join our team in Nottingham CityCare. As a Specialist Community Health School Nurse, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme within a 0-19 integrated public health team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage an assigned caseload and be responsible and accountable for this caseload
- Deliver evidence-based packages of care to give Nottingham children the best start in life
- Signpost families to other services to ensure that children, young people, and families have the support they require to meet their individual needs
- Support the Clinical Service Leads and Managers to deliver support to school-aged children and young people within an integrated service offer for children and young people aged 0-19 and their families
- Work collegiately with other key partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality children's services to school-aged children and young people throughout Nottingham City
Requirements:
- Registered Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (School Nurse)
- Non-medical prescribing (V100 or V300)
- Evidence of further professional development including Dip Level 2 Modules in Family Planning, Teaching & Assessing, Counselling
