We are seeking a seasoned Supervising Advocate – Parental Advocacy Specialist to join our team and drive excellence in advocacy services. As a leader in your field, you will be responsible for delivering advocacy services for parents and other vulnerable adults, supporting the Service Manager with overall service delivery, and mentoring team members to maintain high standards of advocacy practice.
About the Job
In this critical role, you will oversee the Families First for Children Pathfinder Programme advocacy project and supervise the delivery of parental advocacy services. Your exceptional leadership skills will enable you to motivate and inspire your team, driving quality improvement and fostering a positive work environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Oversee the Families First for Children Pathfinder Programme advocacy project and supervise the delivery of parental advocacy services.
- Mentor and coach advocacy team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Monitor legislative changes related to child and adult welfare and advocate for policy updates as needed.
What We Provide
- A competitive salary of £42,000 - £48,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- Generous mileage expenses for travel.
- Excellent pension contribution up to 5%.
- 23 days of annual leave + bank holidays (increases after 2 years of service).
