Working at Shap Blue Quarry allows you to thrive in a scenic environment while contributing to the production of essential construction materials.

We are seeking a motivated Quarry Operative to join our team. This role is crucial to our operations, ensuring efficient extraction and processing of materials. As part of our team, you'll contribute to the production of materials that build communities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain quarry machinery and equipment.
  • Ensure quality control of materials and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Load materials, manage supplies, and maintain site cleanliness.
  • Act as a responsible person on site in the manager's absence.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Experience in a similar role within the construction materials industry.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, hands-on approach.
