About the Role

You will be based within our Mental Health Support Team (MHST), working alongside various mental health professionals. Your primary responsibility will be to work directly with children and young people of primary and secondary school age, supporting their emotional wellbeing and mental health.

As an Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP), you will undertake mental health assessments, including risk assessments, and interventions based on the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) model. You will also work closely with teachers, parents/careers, social workers, and other mental health professionals to provide a comprehensive support system for the child or young person.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people. If you have experience working with children and young people in an education setting, a Post Graduate Diploma in Education Mental Health, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills, we would love to hear from you.
