Mental Health Social Care Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity for a Mental Health Social Care Specialist to join our Cygnet Hospital Bury team. As a Registered Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health needs.
About the JobThe ideal candidate will have relevant experience working in a mental health setting or a passion for working in this field. You will need a strong understanding of safeguarding, health & safety, data protection, confidentiality issues & equality & diversity.
- Responsibilities:
- Work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, providing high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health needs
- Partner with service users, families, and other stakeholders to assist with the recovery process
- Forge links and maintain contact with statutory agencies
- Lead on social care needs of service users
- Ensure service users and families/carers are aware of legal rights
- Take an active role in safeguarding within the multidisciplinary team
- Provide written reports to the multidisciplinary team and other professionals
In return, we offer a competitive salary of £32,000-£42,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including opportunities for further learning, expert supervision, and employee referral scheme.
