Customer Experience Executive

Gecko Travel Recruitment is seeking a skilled Customer Experience Executive to join our team. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service for pre and post departure queries or complaints
  • Ensure the company is represented in a professional manner at all times
  • Think commercially when handling a complaint scenario, whilst remaining empathetic
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressured and ever-changing environment
  • Ensure the customer has a positive experience with the company
  • Ensure all company processes and procedures are followed whilst meeting service levels
  • Carry out any ad-hoc projects within the Customer Experience team

Requirements:

  • Travel industry background
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Patience, resilience and the ability to be empathetic regardless of the situation
  • A commercial mindset, and ensure margins for each reservation are maximised
  • Familiarity with social media (Facebook, Twitter, Trustpilot etc)
  • Basic knowledge of ABTA Code of Conduct
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
