Overview:
This full-time on-site role is for a Repairs Scheduler / Operations Administrator in Basildon. The successful candidate will manage daily administrative responsibilities, support operations management, deliver exceptional customer service, and ensure efficient workflows within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and schedule daily tasks for operational staff, ensuring optimal diary management.
  • Monitor the system for urgent requests and address them promptly to meet performance targets.
  • Handle telephone inquiries, coordinating with the duty surveyor to ensure work continuity.
  • Provide face-to-face customer service, maintaining high-quality interactions.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily goals, targeting a minimum of 60 new job allocations each day.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Experience in social housing and repair/maintenance sectors.
  • Proficiency in job planning and scheduling using relevant systems.
  • Familiarity with various trades and the tasks typically assigned to direct labor or subcontractors.
  • Knowledge of job duration estimates and health and safety regulations, including asbestos considerations.
  • Must work on-site from the main office in Basildon.
  • Strong written English skills for effective communication.
  • Competent computer skills.
