Job Description

Advanced Resource Managers is seeking a skilled Purchasing Administrator to join their team.

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.

This role involves providing administrative support to the operations and purchasing departments, managing facilities, coordinating schedules, and overseeing procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level administrative assistance to the Operations Manager and Purchasing Manager.
  • Serve as a central point of contact for project-related enquiries within the Operations and Purchasing departments.
  • Source and procure workshop consumables, project materials, and other essential items.
  • Chair weekly packing schedule meetings to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Perform monthly board checks to guarantee that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are up-to-date and circulated to relevant teams.
  • Administer and revise Purchase Orders in a timely manner for approval by the Purchasing Manager.
  • Liaise with suppliers to manage indirect procurement needs, including packaging and updates.
  • Communicate effectively with the Purchasing Manager regarding supplier delays or issues.
  • Provide additional procurement support during periods of holiday and sickness.
  • Assist with category buying and placing orders for specific projects, such as medals and corporate initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Purchasing Administrator or equivalent role.
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain and Production processes.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong supplier management skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
