About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Therapy Instructor to join our Community Therapy Team in Bolton. As a Senior Therapy Instructor, you will work independently in the community, delivering therapy interventions to patients under the supervision of senior staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver therapy interventions to patients in their own homes, including physiotherapy and occupational therapy.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and carers to ensure high-quality care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of therapy plans, ensuring patient-centered care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
Person Specification
We are looking for a candidate with:
- GCSE English and maths or equivalent.
- NVQ or equivalent level of knowledge.
- Previous experience working with clients with disabilities or impairments.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic IT skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to cope with a busy workload.
- Ability to use initiative and make decisions.
