Product Range Developer

At Next, we are looking for an experienced Buyer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a clear understanding of our brand DNA and the ability to manage multiple product ranges effectively. The role involves developing commercially successful product ranges by building strong relationships with suppliers and analysing sales data to plan across all categories. Collaboration with designers and merchandisers is key to this process. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in identifying opportunities to streamline the critical path and trade ranges in-season, as well as excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

About the Role
The role requires a deep understanding of our industry and the ability to easily identify the latest trends for this category. You should be able to take ownership of the critical path and collaborate effectively with internal design and merchandising teams and with the internal sourcing division. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Buyer with strong analytical and planning skills, as well as a team-player mindset. We would ideally like to bring in a Buyer with expert knowledge in this industry.

Key Responsibilities
Create commercially successful ranges that closely align with our NEXT DNA. Analyse sales data and trends to quickly identify new opportunities. Effectively manage your team by delegating resources and workload, ensuring team members stay motivated and focused. Collaborate within the internal design and merchandising teams and with the internal sourcing division. Take ownership of the critical path.
