About the Open Government Partnership

The Open Government Partnership (OGP) is a global effort of governments and civil society organizations working together to make societies more transparent, accountable, inclusive, and participatory. As Senior Regional Coordinator for Europe, you will support this mission by collaborating with governments, civil society, and other key actors to promote open government reforms in the region.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Support the development and implementation of high-quality OGP action plans in multiple European countries.
  • Identify opportunities for knowledge sharing and learning between OGP member countries in Europe.
  • Engage with thematic and development partners, donors, and regional/multilateral institutions to promote open government in Europe.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., public administration, political science, law, or international relations).
  • Extensive experience working on governance issues in Europe, with a focus on transparency, accountability, participation, or open government reform.
  • Excellent communication and relational skills, including building effective collaborations and influencing senior decision-makers.

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill this role, with a strong understanding of policy and socio-political processes within Europe. The ideal candidate will have a creative and strategic mindset, able to align services with overarching organizational objectives. This position involves regular office activities in both remote home working and office environments, as well as some travel up to 25% of the year.
