Exciting Oracle Developer Opportunity

We're working with a leading company in the utilities sector that's driving innovation and development across the Electricity and Gas industries.

In this role, you'll be involved in maintaining and enhancing existing PL/SQL systems and playing a crucial role in developing a new Market-wide Settlement system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality Oracle PL/SQL code for Electricity Market Settlement Systems.
  • Contribute to the design and development of the company's Advanced Data Service (ADS) system.
  • Utilize logical thinking and strong problem-solving skills to tackle complex business challenges.
  • Provide data analysis and technical support for the Operations team, utilizing Oracle backend systems.
  • Write clear and comprehensive documentation, including technical manuals and specifications.
  • Participate in regular training to keep your skills sharp and relevant in a fast-evolving industry.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL development or relevant professional qualifications.
  • Strong expertise in database systems such as Oracle and SQL Server (MSSQL), including schema design and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering efficient, high-quality solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
