About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Waste Handler to join our team at AWE Plc in RG7 4PR. This is an exciting opportunity to work on-site and contribute to the management of Radioactive Solid and Non-aqueous Waste.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of nuclear waste handling procedures and be able to work effectively in a team environment. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Details

  • Salary: £36,540 - £43,000 per annum.
  • Working hours: 9-day working fortnight.
  • Location: RG7 4PR.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the review, sentencing, and consignment of Radioactive Solid and Non-aqueous Waste.
  • Collate and present information in structured reports.
  • Apply rigorous safety and quality cultures to practical demands.
