Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Structured Finance Credit Officer to join our EMEA Corporate Credit Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and managing exposure to a portfolio of counterparties, conducting credit due diligence on new transactions, and evaluating transactions structure and pricing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct credit due diligence on new transactions, including business review, financial analysis, stress cases, and financial modeling.
  • Evaluate transactions structure and pricing, and ultimately syndication risk.
  • Actively participate in credit committee, challenging deal teams and presenting credit views.
  • Brief senior management and liaise with clients as required.
  • Involved in loan portfolio management and production of ad hoc analysis.
  • Opportunity to broaden scope of responsibilities by exerting credit approval authority in other products areas.

Requirements

  • Background in structured finance with experience in the market.
  • Financial/business qualification such as CFA/Master's degree/MBA is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in a similar credit risk department, deal team, rating agency, or credit fund will be considered.
  • Ability to hold own views and present to senior management.
