">Commercial Manager for National Grid Infrastructure
">We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to specialize in high voltage (HV) National Grid infrastructure projects. This role involves managing costs, ensuring project delivery within budget, and providing commercial support for complex HV transmission and distribution projects across the UK.
">Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare, review, and manage cost estimates, budgets, and valuations for high voltage projects, including substations, overhead lines, and cable installations.">
- Monitor and control project expenditures, ensuring accurate reporting and forecasting of project costs.">
- Procurement management: Engage with subcontractors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and managing procurement processes.">
- Cost management: Track variations, manage change control, and provide detailed cost analysis to ensure financial transparency.">
- Provide regular commercial reports and updates to senior management and key stakeholders, including cash flow forecasts and risk analysis.">
- Ensure compliance with National Grid contract terms, safety standards, and governance frameworks.">
Salary Range
">£62,000 - £82,000 per annum, depending on experience.

">This role offers hybrid working arrangements, with flexibility to work from home or in the office.
