Research Nurse Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the operational management of gynaecology research studies, contributing to all aspects of the planning, conduct, and reporting of clinical research trials and studies, and ensuring that all clinical research activity is ICH GCP compliant and conducted in accordance with agreed protocols.
Key Duties- Support the operational management of gynaecology research studies, including patient recruitment and data collection.
- Contribute to the planning, conduct, and reporting of clinical research trials and studies, ensuring compliance with ICH GCP guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with the research team to ensure the successful delivery of research projects.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including researchers, clinicians, and industry partners.
- Ensure that all research activity is conducted in accordance with Trust and R&D procedures and protocols, and in line with the UK Policy Framework for Health and Social Care Research.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing, with experience in clinical research and a proven track record of delivering high-quality research projects. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key qualifications and experience include:
- Registered Nurse with a strong background in gynaecology or a related field.
- Experience in clinical research, including study coordination and data management.
- Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training and certification.
- University degree in a healthcare-related field.
- Postgraduate qualification in nursing or research.
