As a Junior Fashion Designer, you'll play a key role in bringing our creative vision to life, supporting the design team in creating innovative fashion collections that inspire and captivate the UK market.

We're looking for someone who shares our passion for fashion, trend analysis, and design, and is not afraid to think outside the box. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of garment construction, pattern-making, and technical specification, as well as excellent research and analytical skills.

This role offers a competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, along with ongoing professional development opportunities and a chance to be part of a brand that's changing the face of the fashion industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop innovative fashion collections that reflect our brand's aesthetic and resonate with the UK market.
  • Research and interpret current fashion trends, consumer preferences, and local market insights to inform design decisions.
  • Create mood boards, sketches, and design concepts that capture our unique vision and align with UK fashion trends.
  • Assist in the development of technical sketches, CADs, and detailed specification sheets for production.
  • Participate in garment fittings and construction processes to ensure design quality and consistency.
  • Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and other stakeholders to support efficient and high-quality production.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and innovations, attending UK-based fashion shows, trade events, and exhibitions as needed.
  • Contribute fresh ideas and creative solutions to strengthen our brand identity and presence in the UK market.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of experience in fashion design, ideally within the UK fashion industry.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other design tools.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, pattern-making, and technical specification.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and team-oriented approach.
