Job Title: Complex Care Therapist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Neuro Rehab Times.

The ideal candidate will have experience in working with adults with neurological conditions, particularly those with acquired brain injury or complex care needs. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing assessment, intervention, and support to our residents.

Neuro Rehab Times is one of the UK's largest providers of complex care services. Our multidisciplinary teams work together to provide specialist rehabilitation and management of neurological conditions.

Your Role:

As a Speech and Language Therapist within our team, you will be responsible for assessing and managing communication and swallowing disorders in adults with neurological conditions. You will devise evidence-led therapy programmes and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve the best outcomes for our patients.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration
  • Previous experience of working in a neurorehabilitation setting
  • Experience in working with aphasia, cognitive communication disorder, dysarthria, apraxia, and dysphagia is essential
  • Specialist level dysphagia competency on RCSLT framework
  • Ability to motivate patients over short & long periods
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
