Job Role

We are seeking an AAT qualified and/or ACA/ACCA Part Qualified Accountant to join our client's team in Plymouth. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements for a diverse range of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial statements for clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
  • Conduct tax compliance work and manage juniors by reviewing bookkeeping work.
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues as needed.
  • Potential involvement with audit work, depending on your preferences and experience.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be AAT qualified, studying for AAT, ACCA, or other qualifications, or have developed your career through experience. You will also need to have a background in the accountancy practice sector, working within a firm of accountants of any size, with at least two to three years of experience preparing year-end accounts, tax, and providing other services for clients.
