Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with experience in natural capital and biodiversity footprinting to coordinate the Cities Hub within the EU Horizon CircHive project. The successful candidate will support four city case-studies in co-developing and testing new approaches to measure and report natural capital and biodiversity footprints.

About the Role:

The City Hub, led by Prof. Marc Metzger, facilitates collaboration between the case-studies and CircHive research partners to pilot biodiversity footprinting and natural capital accounting approaches. The successful candidate will also support peer learning and capacity building among the case-study partners and with a wider community of cities across Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the Cities Hub within the EU Horizon CircHive project
  • Support four city case-studies in co-developing and testing new approaches to measure and report natural capital and biodiversity footprints
  • Facilitate collaboration between the case-studies and CircHive research partners
  • Support peer learning and capacity building among the case-study partners and with a wider community of cities across Europe

Requirements:

  • Experience working in the natural capital or biodiversity footprinting domain
  • Experience in organising outreach activities, including webinars, blogs, social media, and workshops
  • Excellent communication skills in a range of settings
  • Highly motivated with the ability to take initiative and work independently when appropriate
