A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled Cabin Fitter to join our team at Sunbelt Rentals Careers. As a Cabin Fitter, you will play a crucial role in helping us achieve this vision by delivering exceptional customer experiences and upholding our values, setting an unrivalled standard for the industry.

In this role, you will be part of our Accommodation specialist team, which specializes in the rental of temporary building systems to suit diverse requirements, including anti-vandal 'green specification' accommodation, sleeper units, portable toilets, containers, and other equipment for construction sites and events.

As a Cabin Fitter, your primary responsibilities will include maintaining, repairing, and preparing for hire all types of portable accommodation units within our range. You will work as part of a well-skilled team under an experienced foreman, tasked with preparing units to a high standard for our wide range of clients. Depending on the specific role within our team, this could be fully depot-based or a mix of depot and site-based works.

You will be a great team player, taking pride in your workplace and working environment, ensuring that high standards are maintained while complying with company procedures and processes.

To succeed as a Cabin Fitter, you will bring the following skill-set and behaviours:

  • Basic joinery and plumbing skills are required to prepare our portable accommodation units for hire.
  • Able to work as part of a team, supporting colleagues.
  • Flexible and self-motivated, you will be keen to embrace new training opportunities, which may on occasion require staying away from home.
  • Customer-Focused with a commitment to delivering an excellent service.
  • A strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to ensure all works are completed to a high standard within a tight timescale.

Extra skills that would benefit you in the role:

  • CSCS card for working on site.
  • Driving license.
  • Painting and decorating experience.
  • Property Maintenance experience.
