Job Role
As an Accommodation Specialist, you will work in partnership with the Prison and Probation Service to provide advice and support to clients in the community. Your role will involve:
- Providing guidance on housing options and supporting clients to find and sustain accommodation
- Assisting clients with basic budgeting and financial management
- Liaising with other agencies to ensure clients receive comprehensive support
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience of working in the criminal justice sector or a related field
- Knowledge of homelessness legislation and policies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Vetting Requirements
This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check and prison clearance. We welcome applications from individuals with a criminal record, and any information will be subject to a fair and proportionate assessment.
