About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Vetro Recruitment. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and support to patients in a variety of settings, including nursing and residential homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalized care and support to patients, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Use manual handling equipment to safely move patients, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Implement care and treatment plans, working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, helping to alleviate loneliness and isolation.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in healthcare, preferably in a care or nursing setting.
  • Ability to use manual handling equipment safely and effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of patients.
