Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to lead our financial management and reporting activities. The ideal candidate will have expertise in financial accounting and possess knowledge of accounting software of Xero.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage financial accounts and prepare reports as part of month-end processes
  2. Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
  3. Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making
  4. Utilise accounting software to maintain accurate financial records
  5. Monthly Payroll processing
  6. Ownership of financial management and budgeting activities
  7. Ownership of year-end audits for our 2 companies

Requirements

  1. ACA / ACCA Qualified or Part Qualified
  2. Proficiency in Xero accounting software
  3. Strong background in financial accounting principles, VAT Returns, Tax and year-end accounts reporting
  4. Experience in freight, transportation, logistics or similar industry
  5. Ability to handle accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks efficiently
  6. Skilful in financial management and reporting
  7. Capable of mentoring and managing a finance team
