Financial Accountant Analyst

Join Manor Royal Business District as a Financial Accountant Analyst and take on a challenging role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial accounting transactions, as well as maintaining the integrity of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and control financial accounting transactions, ensuring accurate and complete entries in both statutory and management accounting records.
  • Post and correct transactions in the ledger to overcome limitations in the RPA/Tbox system.
  • Deliver accurate, reliable, and timely books of account for VAA/VAH, including accounting for revenue and taxes.
  • Contribute to projects to enhance financial controls, including mapping controls and articulating them to financial and non-financial staff.
  • Support the Financial Accounting managers in delivering and testing operational improvements and proactively highlight opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Part-qualified ACA/ACCA with a strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping.
  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel, and experience with tools such as Visio, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to explore automation software to drive efficiencies within the role and across the team.
  • Strong system skills, particularly Oracle Financials and Business Objects.
