Financial Accountant Analyst

Join our team at Manor Royal Business District as a Financial Accountant Analyst and take on a challenging role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and complete financial accounting transactions, including postings and transactional corrections.
  • Deliver timely and reliable books of account, including revenue and tax accounting.
  • Contribute to projects that enhance financial controls, including mapping and articulating controls to financial and non-financial staff.
  • Support the Financial Accounting managers in delivering operational improvements and proactively highlight opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure accurate and complete posting of all journals, loading of budget and forecasts into Oracle, and initial investigation into key variances.
  • Complete and maintain accounting reconciliations, including invoice control, taxes, and balance sheet accounts.
  • Work with other Finance Operations teams to ensure efficient interface between RPA/Tbox and Oracle.
  • Support other teams by cross-referencing information and ensuring end-to-end process understanding.
  • Assist in implementing projects and take ownership as required.

Requirements:

  • Part-qualified ACA/ACCA with strong understanding of double entry bookkeeping.
  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel, and experience with tools like Visio, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to explore automation software to drive efficiencies.
  • Strong system skills, particularly Oracle Financials and Business Objects.
