Job Description

Proud to Care Devon is seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to lead activities for individuals with learning and physical disabilities. As an Activity Lead, you will be responsible for creating engaging and inclusive experiences that promote social interaction, personal growth, and overall well-being.

In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your creativity and skills in music, drama, cooking, and horticulture to design and deliver activity programs that cater to diverse needs and interests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver activity programs that promote social interaction, personal growth, and overall well-being

  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement program strategies that meet the needs of individuals with learning and physical disabilities

Requirements:
  • Degree or diploma in a relevant field (e.g., special education, recreation therapy)
  • Experience working with individuals with learning and physical disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Creativity and ability to think outside the box
