  • Reviewing in-year forecasts through monthly challenge sessions, providing detailed analysis and actionable insights
  • Contributing to key fiscal events, such as Spending Reviews, by ensuring business cases are built on robust financial models and well-grounded assumptions, including resource planning for delivery objectives
  • Managing grant-in-aid processes, encompassing fund drawdowns, cash management, and reporting activities

Key requirements include:

  • CCAB qualification
  • Considerable experience of working in a finance or finance adjacent role in a large and/or complex organisation
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to find a way through complex problems
  • Comfortable operating at pace and in ambiguity
  • A good understanding of the complexities of Government budgeting and accounting rules (desirable)

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a competitive pension scheme, generous holiday allowance, and opportunities for professional development. We value diversity and inclusion, and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
