This role will involve:
- Procurement and Contract Management: Collaborating with the procurement team to develop and implement effective procurement strategies, and managing contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Cost Analysis and Reporting: Analyzing and reporting on project costs, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Subcontract Management: Managing subcontractors and their work packages, including tender analysis, negotiation, and administration of contracts.
- Cost Control and Budgeting: Developing and implementing cost control measures to ensure projects are delivered within budget, and managing budgets to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Project Coordination: Coordinating with project teams to ensure effective project delivery, including attending site meetings and providing cost advice.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant Qualifications: HNC in Quantity Surveying, Construction, or equivalent.
- Industry Experience: Experience working within the construction industry for a main contractor or JCT.
- Technical Skills: Excellent IT, analytical, and communication skills, including experience with COINs.
- Professional Membership: Professional membership of MCIOB or RICS, or working towards such qualification.
