About this role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Financial Leader to lead our UK Finance function. As the UK Head of Finance, you will be responsible for all day-to-day finance processes, including Controllership, Manufacturing Finance, Treasury, Insurance, Tax, and Financial Reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

As a key member of our leadership team, you will:

  • Lead and manage a team of finance professionals to deliver financial plans, manage and monitor financial initiatives, and control financial risks.
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to our UK General Manager and other stakeholders to inform business decisions.
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of comprehensive financial reports to executive leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with UK financial regulations and proactively manage financial risks.
  • Liaise with the FP&A team to develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Support the transition of financial processes from Carrier to a standalone company.

Candidate Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification and experience with UK GAAP reporting requirements (Knowledge of US GAAP is desirable)
  • Proven experience in a senior finance role in an international environment
  • Analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work and deliver within tight timelines
  • Broad management and leadership knowledge to lead project teams
  • Experience in manufacturing accounting
  • University Degree or equivalent experience (min. 8 years prior relevant experience) or Advanced Degree in a related field (min. 5 years experience)
