## Principal Optical Engineer

### Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Optical Engineer to join our team at IC Resources. As a key member of our fibre optics team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge fibre optical systems.

### Key Responsibilities

* Design and develop fibre optical systems for optimal performance
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate optical systems into larger projects
* Develop and maintain technical expertise in fibre optics and related technologies
* Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers

### Requirements

* PhD in Physics, Electronic Engineering, or related discipline
* Industrial experience in fibre optics and optical systems development
* Strong knowledge of MATLAB, Zemax, and Python
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
