Estimator - Cost Modelling Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team at MWH Treatment, based in Peterborough with hybrid working available. As a member of our central Estimating Team, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of multiple projects within our Integrated Main Works Framework.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing estimates at various stages, including optioneering, outline design, and detailed design, which will typically include Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation/Control work scopes.
  • Working closely with multi-discipline teams to understand and quantify scope, and liaising with our supply chain to develop estimates for specific items of scope.
  • Developing cost models for digital delivery and standardisation, and maintaining cost bases, including cost base submission and verification.
  • Working closely with Cost Managers to ensure a smooth transition from estimating into cost management, and becoming familiar with the cost capture requirements of Anglian Water.

As we move into this exciting and challenging period for the Water industry, it is essential that our commercial and cost management processes and practices remain industry-leading to ensure we not only deliver but outperform against our objectives and customer expectations.
